Power House records presents 'Shapes' the full-length album from Villa Violet. with twelve-tracks of masterfully produced tasteful big room progressive techno tech house dashed with a mixture of minimal and acid psytech. Featuring eight freshly written tracks, three songs previously released on Harthouse Records and Stellar Fountain plus a fantastically trippy and pumping remix from Minoru. Every track will appeal to fans of the biggest sounds currently coming out of Europe's tech scene such as 1605 and Umek and this album will take dj's and dancers on a wild ride. Marco's creative techno vibes can be experienced when listening to Villa Violet - Shapes. This album is set to take the scene to a new level. Marco is no newcomer to the vast world of electronic music production.
While keeping himself busy with Sound design jobs for Loopmasters, Digidesign, ReFX, Tone2 and fully exercising his creative, technical muscles, he also produces beats and bars under the well-known names Datacult and Meller. His creations come in many forms spanning from staunch techno through to his own brand of 'trippy trance' released through a plethor a of labels such as John Fleming's Joof Recordings, Per-Vurt and Shabulized, Ovnimoon Records, Power House and more. But he doesn't limit his efforts to production and djing only, one does sometimes wonder how deep this creative mine of his is and since 2010 readers of the German Beat magazine get regularly funneled more of his energy through articles about sound-design and Workshops. Although Marco Scherer is not a name that's commonly associated with the new breed of electronica and dance producers circulating for the last couple of years, he's no novice when it comes to production and has highly honed skill with in the studio.
